BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Brittney Culp is a trauma/acute care surgeon at two level 2 trauma centers in the DFW Metroplex. She went to Texas Tech University where she graduated in 2 years with a General Studies degree. She received her MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. She also spent a year doing private practice, elective general surgery in Salt Lake City.
She has a toddler, four dogs, and a husband who is one of her partners at work (he is also a trauma/acute care surgeon). She loves working out, has a serious sweet tooth, and is a major sports fan. She is passionate about physician burnout/depression after having been through it herself and she also is excited about empowering and building community with other female physicians.
