BIOGRAPHY:

Erin Bass is an Associate Professor of Strategy in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She is passionate about researching and teaching what leads some organizations to achieve high levels of performance on a variety of metrics: from profitability, to innovation, to diversity and inclusion. Much of this passion stems from her youth when she trained as a classical ballet dancer. In this hyper-competitive profession, she learned that what leads some to succeed is often not what they have, but how they use what they have. Erin danced professionally across the US before hanging up her pointe shoes to work in Corporate America. She later earned her MBA and chose to pursue a PhD. Through her teaching of undergraduates, graduates, and executives, she uses her research and experience to help businesses and individuals develop strategies to succeed. She has presented her research and teaching across the US, Canada, and Europe. She has worked as a strategic consultant for Omaha-area private, public, and non-profit organizations on local, national, and international projects. Erin is originally from Calgary, Canada and holds a PhD in Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
