Growing up on a corn and wheat farm in Nebraska, Jennifer Knecht’s passion for solid work ethic and growing businesses began early as she worked alongside her dad helping expand the first generation family business from a single farm operation to the multiple- farm corporation it is today. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she launched on her personal journey as the director of public affairs and programs for the USO of San Diego where she guided the team to increased brand presence throughout San Diego County, effecting an over 300% increase in fundraising and 410% increase in volunteers in a few short years.
Moving up the west coast to Oregon, she joined forces with a then boutique, all-natural and organic chocolate factory, helping take the Endangered Species Chocolate Company brand from niche distribution to mass market distribution in big grocery and box stores including Target, Kroger and Hy-Vee. Returning to Nebraska, Knecht has been a strategic part of several advertising and marketing agency leadership teams growing and helping eventually sell these regional agencies.
A seasoned insider to senior living and home-based services, Jennifer has been at the executive leadership level in healthcare for nearly a decade. She’s an innovative change agent, working with teams to develop marketing and branding strategies and winning sales teams to keep occupancy and census at 90%+, while orchestrating multi-million dollar growth plans.
In addition to being a passionate growth catalyst, she is host of the weekly podcast Food, Success and Life for the Modern Woman (archived on iTunes, Stitcher Radio and Google Play), an accomplished marathoner and an avid competitor in the National Reining Horse Association and American Quarter Horse Association. Jennifer and her husband reside in Omaha and enjoy spending time with Pemberton, an energetic canine, and Remi, their reining horse.
