Dana Corriel (pronounced Dah-na) is a board-certified internist who works both in the physical world and in the virtual one. She treated patients in a primary care setting for years before recognizing the potential to connect and heal on the virtual platforms available through social media. She founded the group SoMeDocs, which stands for Doctors on Social Media, and is now an active physician platform, where doctors can share their work and grow online together. She believes that creativity is a factor that helps beat burnout, and helps both physicians and patients find their spark. She is also, most importantly, mother to three beautiful boys in a dual-household physician and considers parenting to be one of the most difficult, but also rewarding, ongoing experience in her life.
